Who: Princess Kelia, Lord Aslan, King Pendragon
When: Late morning in an attempt to beat the heat.
Where: In the garden Court under the shade of the trees.
What: It's high time to establish a relationship between the Princess and her betrothed!
The Princess slowly walked through the gardens. Her head was held high, but her heart was raising. Betrothed? Me? She had known for a long time that this day would come, Queen Valiant had made it clear since she was a young kit exactly what her duties would be as the eldest Princess of Camelot. But now the day was actually here, and all of her mother's words interlaced throughout her memory, causing her thoughts to spin. Kelia took a deep breath as she sat under one of the large trees in her Father's court. The day was hot, but not unbearably so, thanks to the lingering coolness of the night that remained settled in the grass. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees and caused ripples to dance across the surface of the pond.
"Father. When will Lord Aslan arrive?" Her green eyes scanned the beautiful court, anxious for the meeting to begin. She was careful, however, to keep the emotion from touching her voice as she spoke. I am here because when all else fails, when all the other mighty gods have gone off to war, I am all that's left.
