Fernwhisker has been a part of CoSC since February 09, 2006. She has been a member of CoSC's staff since October 27, 2006. Amusingly, the day she was named a staff member was also her birthday. She usually goes by 'Fern' on-site, but lately she also favors 'Ri' as a moniker.

Background
- Fernwhisker attends a small liberal arts university somewhere in the Midwestern United States. It's exactly what you would expect a liberal arts university to be like. Shockingly, in spite of Fern's truly deplorable social anxiety issues, she has amassed an actual flesh-and-blood group of friends. She is confused but pleasantly surprised.
- She first entered the magical world of Warriors Roleplay at the tail end of 5th grade; since then, she increased in experience and began to run her own advanced Warriors RP sites. This has since fallen by the wayside, giving her and CoSC a monogamous (if unfortunately on-again-off-again, in recent times) relationship.
Random Information
- Besides owning a dog, a cat, a sugar glider, and a ball python, Fernwhisker and the other residents of her house collect tarantulas. They once owned more than fifty specimens of varying species, but lately the number has dwindled due to difficulties in the tarantula-buying-and-breeding market. The economy, you know. The current number dwelling in her basement at home hovers around twenty.
- Newheart was Fernwhisker's very first character, brainstormed--tragic history and all--over eight years ago. Her personality has shifted and developed quite a lot since then, and her history has been tweaked to be more realistic, but Newheart (also called Fernwhisker and Fernstar) is still physically the same. The recent retirement of Newheart has a bittersweet note to Fernwhisker for this reason: this is the last incarnation of her oldest RP character, and soon she will be gone forever.
- Fernwhisker does not own a television and does not watch many programs. She is, however, extremely devoted to the few shows she does keep up with--specifically Supernatural and particularly Doctor Who. She converted to Doctor Who her first year in college, and is now a dedicated Whovian. She even keeps a sonic screwdriver in a drawer in her work desk.
- Fernwhisker is the author of an approved canon CoSC story, To Not Look Back.
