Brinckmyster

From Children of StarClan

Greetings

I know that you asked Willow for assistance, but since I'm online now and she's been rather pressed for time of late I decided that I would just stick my nose in. The first thing I'm going to let you know is that all comments on talk pages should be signed by adding "~~~~" (without the "quotes", of course) to the end of your post. That way they know who the comment came from. There is also an option to PM a person through the forum, which is completely private.

Now, to cover the basics that I always tell people: Always feel free to ask any question that you can't find the answers to in the Help & FAQ, Rules & Regulations or the Game Information Index. We have a lot of differences from many games, so a slight learning curve is to be expected when new folks show up.

Then we get to your character specifically... The Guide to Creating a Character is the place you should start. It even has a suggested reading list that you might wish to use as a starting place to prepare yourself for the process. Just by glancing at it, I can tell you need to spend some time checking out the Documentation that explains how to use the form you fill out to create your character. And I'll mention a few things specifically, one I think you should read and two I think you should know:

  1. You should read Why Can't I Create an Apprentice
  2. Characters from the books, like Leafpool, do not exist at CoSC.
  3. Medicine Cat Apprentices, even when clans don't have them (and they don't always) are Ranks and are always very carefully selected. We hold applications, for while we have specific requirements that frequently include a character being already IC and within a certain age range.

Anyways, specific questions (if you have them) can be asked. and I look forward to seeing you work on your character and get it up to standard.
