Rules

Welcome to Children of StarClan. We hope that you enjoy your stay here. If you run into any problems not covered by the suggested reading listed above please feel free to Send a PM to Administrator Kitsufox to sort out the issue. We would like it to be known that CoSC is a game unlike any other, and that in accordance you will want to take the time to get to know our take on the warriors world which favors an interpretation with the more visceral feel of the original series. Over the course of 4 years we have developed our very specific approach to the fandom that lies a bit outside both the accepted canon of the book world and the common fanon found on most RP sites.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den

Bandwidth Theft

I removed the image you had placed on your userpage because you were doing (either knowingly or unknowingly) something called "bandwidth theft". This means that you are linking to an image stored on another server without the permission of that server. You should also note that it could be construed as Copyright theft, as the image belongs to the owners of that website, not you, and you didn't have permission to repost it.

In future if you wish to post an image link on your userpage to a comic you enjoyed, do so using the link code ([URLHERE LINKTEXT] replacing URLHERE with the URL of the comic and LINKTEXT with the text you wish to have displayed for the link).

Thank you,  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 17:09, 28 September 2010 (CDT)

A Creative commons license does not make it cease to be bandwidth theft. Stealing bandwidth is always wrong unless the owner of the image specifically hands out the url to use to post it places. If you upload it to your own server and provide the link back to attribute the creator, then it would be okay, but not before.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 21:34, 28 September 2010 (CDT)

RE: Name disambiguation pages

Right now, it's something that's an admin task (Willow used to do it, back in the day). Eventually I'll be putting together a set of instructions, but for now just leave the notice and ignore it ;)  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 20:33, 10 October 2010 (CDT)
