Character Input Needed - Applenose (now Ivynose)

Please take a look at Applenose. The speific site for input is However Rippedclaw, the father, who loved his mate with a passion, instructed the medicine cat to try and save them both., as to whether or not the father would have been permitted to stay when the birthing turned difficult.

Hey, Willow, I've been trying to sort out my pending character (Applenose) to get her approved. The biggest problem right now is that beginning paragraph about her birth. I've fiddled around with it a bit, and I want to know if you'd give your stamp of approval for this now-rather-ambiguous version. (Sentences involving Thornpelt are bolded.)

Spottedkit's birth was a hard one for the thin, young queen Duskglow. The kit's larger build resembled her stocky father, Rippedclaw, and so the medicine cat had nearly given up hope of saving kit and mother together. Rippedclaw waited anxiously outside the den, for he loved his mate with a passion, but also wanted desperately for his kits to survive. After a long, strenuous time, and with the help of the medicine cat, Duskglow and Spottedkit pulled through, although the two kits who followed were both stillborn.

On the character herself... I know that it's not the greatest foundation, but by this point I've put so much time into working things out (plus I just really like her name) that I hate to completely overhaul the sheet and turn her into someone else. Also, I like to think that Appletail might have at that point been just happy to have someone else prickly and loudmouthed to be around, since Silverdust is sweet and gentle. I know, it might not seem that likely to people who can't read my mind, but I have this little scenario in my head of Spottedpaw and Appletail resenting each other at first, then growing closer. Also, in Appletail's history, it reads that none of her kits survived past a day. I figure that the maternal instinct could be kicking in, after she starts to befriend Spottedpaw. Chars needed for Genotyping

Character:Redfur and Character:Yellowtail need to be in the system so that I can check the genotypes and get that whole tree up to scratch for that litter that's in progress.
