The moon would have been a glorious thing if not for the shocking death of Birchpelt, whose body was found mauled on Sacredmoor and the mangled corpse of Whitestar just beyond the northern border of ShadowClan. But, StarClan brings promises of hope and indication that the forest will have a period of quiet. A chance for all four clans to rest and recovery from the excitement of the past year in preparation for the harsh winter.<BR><BR>Kits have been born, apprentices made, and warriors named. While the killingcough is still gone, seemingly vanished just as quickly as it arrived, the clans are still in pain from the losses they suffered (some more so than others). The dangers of winter are foremost on the minds of the majority of cats rather than any other threat that might stalk the moors, riverbanks, swamps and forests. The Moon of Leopard's Rest is fraught with danger and this year it is no exception. While the killingcough is still gone, seemingly vanished just as quickly as it arrived, the clans are still in pain from the losses they suffered (some more so than others). The dangers of winter are foremost on the minds of the majority of cats rather than any other threat that might stalk the moors, riverbanks, swamps and forests. Peace reigns once again int he territories of the clan cats, punctuated occasionally by small bursts of excitement.
