Nightshade is an all-black she-cat with yellow eyes, big paws and a long tail. Nightshade also has a nasty scar along her right cheek from a fight with a rogue cat. She has sharp claws and razor sharp teeth.

A nocturnal soul, the young she-cat by far prefers the cover of night to day, likely owing to the color of her pelt and clan heritage. Eager for dusk patrols and night raids, Nightshade would like to think herself the most loyal warrior in Thunderclan, ready to stand guard when no other cat was! From birth, though intelligent, she

was born rash in her actions, quite willing for any challenges, despite the risks, and open to the dares of her friends. It is a wonder she survived her apprenticeship with only the one scar as a reminder.

Though maturity has set in with the duration of the moons since, Nightshade is still reckless with confidence, with a big temper to match. And when her actions fail, such as an unsuccessful hunt or an unforeseen attack, she takes the failure very personally. Though he's quite forgiving of her clanmates, forgiving herself takes time. With a fierce nature and a firm sense of determination, her mind never changes once she'd made up her mind, and she can get REALLY reckless most of the time. Though she is still a young warrior, perhaps it will change, but it seems like her aggression will stay forever.

As a kit, Nightkit already showed signs of becoming a great warrior. She was a great hunter and a great fighter among her den-mates. Her mentor trained her hard, teaching her to respect the Warrior Code. At 8 moons, she fought her first battle against a rogue clan and won, but she kept a nasty souvenir. A deep scar on her left cheek reminds her of that battle. When she became a Warrior at 11 moons, she earned her Warrior name, Nightshade.

She is a Half-Clan cat, but nobody knows that, and everyone thinks that her father is one of the tomcats that died of Killingcough.
