Declined Application from Sahena

Application Status: Declined
1.) A) Wrenkit will be born to a litter of two. He is going to be raised by a rather creative mother, giving him a chance to develop mentally in a broader scope, to 'think outside the box' thanks to experiences and situations explained vicariously to him via her.

In addition to this, being raised with a sister will give him a certain array of experience and fellowship with his Clanmates. They are simple things, but important social elements. He will understand sharing – and through that he will understand the importance of a family as a unit(which will translate to 'Clan' once he is old enough to grasp this concept). The more literal manifestation of this will result in him valuing each individual's physical health, understanding that each weak link not only affects the individual, but the 'family', as well.

His personality will hopefully make him an approachable Medicine Cat when/if that day comes. He is polite, soft-spoken, but still evenly stern. Unlike his mother, he'll be less keen on sharing the details of each patient's situation, especially the more personal problems. Being a polite and obedient kit, he will seem less judgmental of any clanmate's situation – or, at least, he will not make his judgments known.

2.) Wrenkit(paw?) watched as the challenge was laid before him and understood the weight of the question. It couldn't be as simple as he thought it was, no...it couldn't be. The flesh above his nose wrinkled for a moment as he took in each word individually. Wrenpaw took his time in his answer, letting the flesh of his face relax and lowering his nose to each herb in turn. He recognized the appearance of all three herbs, but he sampled each scent regardless, as he seemed to remember them better through their scents.

With each sample, he mumbled in his thoughts. It wasn't a clever trick, but it was something he often did to show his current company that he was 'still thinking'. “Kit with Kitcough.” He stated quietly as he sampled the Feverfew's scent. He delibrated for a moment and concurred with himself, mumbling his verdict so that his mentor would understand his thoughts. “Fever. Gentle.” He paused. “Less vomitting.”

His muzzle swung to the next option, the dried grapes, and he took in their smell, offering his verdict in a similar fashion. Except this time, a bit of a scowl appeared on his expression. “Dehydrate small kit.” He huffed, “Quick expulsion, wrong problem.” He said with finality before moving on to the Ash seeds.

“Good for comfort.” He said, entertained with his own thought. “No symptom help. Possible addition.” His tail twitched a little as his mind truly considered this, but then his tone took a lower pitch, “Not for kit.” He declared. With that, he knew his answer. He exhaled sharply to push some of the Ash scent from his nose as he hoisted his head up to meet eyes with his mentor.

“Feverfew.” He said. There was confidence in his tone, but it wasn't brash, it was as gentle as he'd ever been. “It would help prevent a weakened kit to keep their food down and recover.” He paused for just a moment to gather the rest of his thoughts and correct his word choice, “Less fever, less stomach problems mean more milk it can take, which will keep it strong and en route to recovery.” He cast his eyes down to the rejected two, “Those two are not appropriate in this situation. They are inappropriate and would weaken a kit to a point they would likely not recover.” With that; eye contact was broken and he awaited his judgment.
