Because this is under--documented I figured I had better document it, as punishments are possible in relationship to Short Descriptions.

The Short Description was originally added to the system to address a problem of players drastically altering character looks away from what they were approved with. Because of this, Short descriptions are entered by an Admin (usually Gorse) following the approval of a character.

Short Descriptions are based off the original approved Appearance Description. Appearance Descriptions are expected to remain true to the general explanation of looks provided, which will include fur color, Fur pattern, eye color and any notable traits.

Any time a short description does not match the appearance description the player is given 48 Hours to correct the discrepancy. Failure to do so will result in confiscation of the character with no option to recover .

Followup

On the new site the sdesc is stored on a subpage of the character page. Once an Admin finalizes the sdesc, they will protect the page from editing. All other rules remain the same, all that is altered is the process by which things are done.
