A ginger bi-color she-cat with a solid white leg and yellow eyes
Long Description :
Yellowfoot is a cat with a ginger and white coat, with one completely white leg. Her eyes are yellow and of average size, as are her slightly tufty ears. Yellowfoot's coat is semi-longhair and usually kept in as good condition as possible. Her legs and paws and body are of average size. Her tail is sleek and prone to thrashing about when Yellowfoot is not paying too much attention to keeping it under control, which means she is often clumsy in her movement, although when she is concentrating extremely hard she is able to keep herself still.

Personality
Yellowfoot is always careful around her elders and cautious about airing her views without making sure of the situation, but when she has established exactly what is going on, she is keen to have her say. However, Yellowfoot enjoys her own company most of the time, and is keen to explore whenever she gets the chance. Having been a warrior for nine moons, Yellowfoot is comfortable with Clan rituals and enjoys participating wholeheartedly, despite not having the experience of the older warriors.

History

Full History :
Yellowfoot was named Rushkit at birth because of her 'rushing' eagerness to suckle at her mother's teat. As a kit, she was shy but active, and enjoyed exploration - little changed as Yellowfoot grew! Rushkit enjoyed eavesdropping on the conversation of any cats in the nursery and consequently learnt to become quietly perceptive. Sadly, Rushkit's mother became ill and died just before she was made an apprentice, and Rushkit requested that she was apprenticed with the name Yellowpaw, in honour of her mother.
Rushkit's wish was granted, and she was apprenticed shortly to a respected mentor who was known for teaching her apprentices kindly but firmly - and very thoroughly. Faced with the responsibility of becoming an apprentice, Yellowpaw reluctantly put her mother's death behind her, and learnt to deal with the challenges of a life in the Clan proper. During this time, Yellowpaw formed a strong bond with her mentor, likened at times to a mother-daughter relationship. A while later, Yellowpaw became a warrior, much to her excitement. She was given the name Yellowfoot, and bore the name with pride, vowing to make it her own by serving ShadowClan as well as she could. Yellowfoot did not commit herself to become a 'special friend' to any particular cat of the Clan, but instead aimed to be on good terms with everybody, by remaining respectful to both her elders and those younger than her, and only speaking her mind when appropriate. Yellowfoot died on the 23rd day of the Moon of Long Nights (2007) after she fell into the swamp and was unable to get out. |
