Pending Characters & Related Rules

  1. Characters pending for 1 week or more without progress (being edited by the creator) will be given a 48 hour warning and deleted if the player has not filed an {{LOA}}.
  2. Characters filed without a player listed will be given a 24 hour correction window, and deleted if a player name is not added.
  3. Character Sheets are expected to comply with all rules, bans, guidelines, history and other documentation created to apply to such things.
Pending Characters Lists - This list contains all pending characters in the game.

Importing from the Old Site

Characters from the old site are no longer eligible for import.
They are also not eligible to be re-created as new characters, and users caught attempting such a thing will be punished as a violator or Copyright.
If you have a good reason for having missed the window, please plead your case to Kitsufox. She's sympathetic, and if you have a good reason, it's likely she'll take pity.

New Clan Characters

Rules & Guidelines for Character Creation

  1. Instructions, Guidelines and general help has been compiled into a Handy Guide. You will make use of this resource. Really. You will. If you don't, your decline will be a ton worse than it would be if you read this stuff first. Read, THEN start your creation.
  2. No player may have more than 1 character pending at any given time. (Any additional characters submitted beyond the one you are permitted will be immediately deleted. Exceptions are made for Import Characters and NPC Parents of PCs).
  3. Clan Characters count towards your Clan Cat Character totals.

ALSO: If your character is a part of an IC Litter, consult the Litter Approvals Department for Creation information. Thank you.

New Non-Clan Characters

Rules & Guidelines or the Creation of Non-Clan Characters

  1. No player may have more than 1 character pending at any given time. (Any additional characters submitted beyond the one you are permitted will be immediately deleted. Exceptions are made for Import Characters and NPC Parents of PCs).
  2. Instructions, Guidelines and general help has been compiled into a Handy Guide. Use it!
  3. Non-Clan Characters count towards ones Domestic, Feral, or staff character slots.
  4. Domestic characters (Kittypet equivalent) may be created by any player with an approved clan character.
  5. Feral & Semi-feral characters may only be created by players who meet the following requirements:
    • Membership of at least 2 RL Months/1 IC Moon
    • Minimum of 1 Approved Clan Cat.
    • RP Activity with that Character Spanning a Minimum of 1 RL Month consisting of involvement in at least 1 thread the majority of the time with all characters.

ALSO: Please understand that Domestic, Feral, and Semi-feral characters will be held to higher standards than general clan characters because they are more difficult to RP creatively without reuse of the overdone must kill clans standard.

Adoption

Adoptions have been moved to the Adoptions Department.

Non-Player Characters

NPC Parents

Pages should be created for NPC parents for your character, simply to fill in family trees and provide what information we do have about the NPC in a neat package.
  1. Enter the name of the NPC in the box below and enter the text from your approved character into the form.
  2. Ensure that you fill in the details as accurately as possible.
  3. (EFFECTIVE 14 November 2008) Do not submit an NPC Parent for a character that is not yet approved.
  4. NPC parents are the exception to the single character pending at a time rule. You may have the NPC mother and father pending at the same time once your character is approved.

Non-Cat NPCs

In some cases you may need to create an NPC character that is not a cat. While these situations are infrequent, they do happen.
  1. Ensure that you have express permission from Kitsufox.
