Dead at the age of 39 moons (3 years)
and has been so for 22 moons (1 year & 8 months).
Appearance

Short Description :
A blue-eyed tom with prominent chocolate point ragdoll markings
Long Description :
Dogma is one-half Ragdoll, and his looks show it. Most of his long fur is off-white, almost snowy-white when clean; but his face, tail, paws, and most of his face and head are dark, chocolatey brown in a standard pointed pattern. His face has the usual inverted-v bicolor brown and white marking. When well-groomed, he could almost pass as a full-blooded Ragdoll, but the problem is that he's rarely well-groomed. Being a cat for whom appearances are not particularly important, he does not spend much time cleaning his pelt. As a result, his fur is usually dirty and sticks up at odd and unpredictable angles. Dogma is on the large side of average-sized, built powerfully. His stringy muscles harbor a lot of endurance. By necessity he is an accomplished fighter; his prickly personality tends to get him into fights. Dogma's eyes are a clear, light blue. His nose is pink and his long whiskers are white. A noticable scar, almost perfectly straight, runs from above his right eye to beneath his right ear; several smaller but similar scars, almost obscured by his long fur, run across his right cheek. These scars are relics of a day an angry twoleg threw a glass bottle at him.
Personality

Dogma is generally a prickly and often bad-tempered character. His words are barbed and quick to cut when his temper is roused, which it so easily is in the presence of cats he considers idiots. He himself is a clever cat, although he likely rarely comes across as so. He is too short and blunt of speech to be a particularly likable cat--indeed, he can even be abrasive. He likes to antagonize others; he sees it as a source of amusement, and will not hesitate to pick a fight (whether verbal or physical) when the mood strikes him. Bold and relatively fearless, he would, in a more bored or reckless mood, even go out of his way to poke fun at a Clan cat. He holds a general dislike of Clanners and would personally love to see them gone--they take away hunting grounds from the free cats, mark their boundries and look at feral cats with such disdain...as though they were better than the average feral!

In addition to his distaste of Clanners, he tends to look down at Semi-Feral cats and kittypets. He thinks their dependance on twolegs is rediculous and that they are giving away all pride as cats. He greatly values independance, and posesses a long streak of self-interest that often comes in handy in preserving said independance.

Despite what has been written here, Dogma is not all sharp tongue and claws. There is a deep part of him that desires friendship and closeness with other cats...too bad he usually ignores and even stampedes right over that part. He isn't looking for a relationship of any kind. He doesn't need friends. If he seeks out another cat to talk to, it's only because he's bored. He's unsympathetic, and his motto is 'get over it.'
History

Key Dates
Full History :
Once upon a time, Dogma's mother Karma was a healthy and well-fed domestic cat. She was not a purebred cat, but she was attractive enough to draw the attention of a tom who was: Israfel of Vir Bellaza, a pure-blooded Ragdoll show cat. Israfel was treated like cat royalty by his housefolks, and because of this tended to be very vain and shallow, even arrogant. But Karma was enthralled by him.

A half-moon or so after they met, Karma announced to a suprised Israfel that she was expecting his kits. If bad luck had not struck soon after, Dogma's life would have been very different. But a few days after telling her mate, Karma's twolegs moved and left her behind. All at once, she was homeless. She had grown up with all the privileges of a pampered domestic cat; semi-feral life drained her, made her face and body thin with hunger and desperate. Growing far into her pregnancy, she went to Israfel for help, for shelter...but hardship had taken away her good looks, and Israfel turned her away with distaste, too shallow and narcissistic to bear the indignity of associating with a cat like Karma. Even though she carried his litter, he pretended he didn't know her. He told her imperiously to leave and not return.

It broke Karma's heart. She was always fragile, always weak, and by the time Dogma was about to be born, she was ready to give up. Full of sadness, bitterness, and self-pity, she was losing her will to survive. Dogma was born in early spring, the only surviving kit of his three-kit litter. Karma's suffering made her old before her time, and confused as well. Dogma's sisters were well-named, even though they were dead, but for her surviving son Karma struggled to find the right name. She had many ideas, but could not choose. Finally, she decided to call him all of her favorite names--and so, Karma's son became Fenrir Augustus Sparrow Phillip Dogma.

Through his early moons, his scatterbrained mother called him either Fenrir, Augustus, Sparrow, Phillip, or Dogma, depending on what came to mind first. It was terribly confusing and annoying to the young cat. As he grew, he even began to resent his mother. Maturity made him see Karma's weakness, and it inspired something close to contempt in him. When she died, he was seven moons old and ready to live on his own. He chose the name he liked best for himself, Dogma, and set out to make a living.

When Dogma was 20-something moons old, he met a proud, snappy feral she-cat named Ana. They spoke often during the next two and a half moons; sometimes they discussed deep things, but mostly they snapped at each other. They cut each other up with their mutual sharp tongues, insulted each other, and had a lot of shouting fights. They were very much in love. Then Ana was caught in a Twoleg trap while hunting dangerously close to their territory, and she was taken away. Dogma was helpless to save her, and his helplessness and grief inspired a furious anger at the Twolegs. His fury has faded, but his deep-running hatred of the Twolegs remains.

Since then, he has decided that his luck is too bad for friends...and anyway, he hates relying on others. So it all works out. He hunts and fights, and passes through each day like any other cat.
