His pelt is a rich pale-red, more akin to the gold of a setting sun, with reddish whorl tabby markings. His face, throat, and chest are white, as well as his front toes, and his hind paws up to his hocks. His eyes are a vivid leaf-green, a startling contrast to his fur. |
| − | |history= | + | |history=Even as a young cat did Leafdusk study his fellow kittens, often not joining in their rough play unless he had discovered some weakness, or considered himself sure to win. He was seen something as a bully for this reason, constantly scolded and swatted away as he tried to pounce upon unsuspecting, or weaker, playmates. First called Duskkit, he was named Leafpaw as he began his apprenticeship - his eyes having turned from kit-blue to the green of summer's leaves. Overeager to push himself further, faster than the others, he often got himself into trouble - taking on tasks that were far too difficult with harebrained schemes that he had concocted in the space of seconds. He learned from these, however; instead of bemoaning his failures or quitting, he would often mull for weeks after an incident. He played and replayed the scenarios in his head, while (often) drifting through the mundane tasks set before him as punishment. He was known as a blunderer, but the young tom seemed not to care. Merging his former names, the gold tabby was dubbed Leafdusk, becoming a warrior at the age of 15 moons. Even now he has not stopped pushing himself, attempting to take on bigger and more difficult challenges - often coming away unsuccessful. His role of the Great Blunderer is still fulfilled, but the tom remains stubbornly silent on all questions regarding why. |
