Appearance   Short Description : A black bi-color tom with large paws, long tail, and scared face Long Description : Nightshade is an all-black tom with yellow eyes, big paws and a long tail. Nightshade also has a nasty scar in between both of his eyes from a fight with a rogue cat. He has sharp claws and razor sharp teeth.

Personality     A nocturnal soul, the young tom by far prefers the cover of night to day, likely owing to the color of his pelt and clan heritage. Eager for dusk patrols and night raids, Nightshade would like to think himself the most loyal warrior in Shadowclan, though his record suggests otherwise. From birth, though intelligent, he was born rash in his actions, quite willing for any challenges, despite the risks, and open to the dares of his friends. It is a wonder he survived his apprenticeship with only the one scar as a reminder. Though maturity has set in with the duration of the moons since, Nightshade is still reckless with confidence, believing his skills to be among the best. And when his actions fail, such as an unsuccessful hunt or an unforeseen attack, he takes the failure very personally. Though he's quite forgiving of his clanmates, forgiving himself takes time. With a strong will and a firm sense of determination, his mind never changes once he'd made up his mind. Though he is still a young warrior, perhaps it will change.

He was a great hunter and a great fighter among his den-mates. When he became an apprentice, he had the honour of being the ShadowClan leader's apprentice. His mentor trained him hard, teaching him to respect the Warrior Code. At 8 moons, he fought his first battle against a rogue clan and won, but he kept a nasty souvenir. A deep scar on his back reminds him of that battle. When he became a Warrior at 11 moons, he earned his Warrior name, Nightshade. On the sixteenth day of the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2007), Nightshade was killed by the Fisher.
