Appearance   Short Description : A brown marbled tabby she-cat Long Description : Swirledcoat is a lean, well-muscled, marbled, light golden she-cat with dark brown stripes.

Personality     Swirledcoat is a bold, outspoken cat. She never lets anyone get in the way of her being able to help her Clan. She is a cool, calculating cat as well, and ignores annoying cats. Swirledcoat takes a great personal joy in watching others fight, and is always found near the sight of a quarrel between friends. However, in spite of her annoying personality, Swirledcoat is a true cat and loves her Clan dearly--especially Darkback, her sister. She loves kits and dreams of having her own litter one day, but right now all the toms she has seen have been 'mouse brains that act like they've never seen a she-cat before'. The she-cat is looking at toms around her Clan now, and is hoping that one will soon become hers.

Swirledcoat was always the bolder of the two, and she loved to tumble and play in the clearing while her proud parents looked on. Darkkit, her sister, spent most of her time in the elders' den, listening with seriousness to their warnings and supserstitions. Swirledcoat and her sister were very fond of one another, and soon they played together and listened to the stories side-by-side. Very soon they were given to mentors to be trained at six moons. By now, Swirledcoat was drawing away from her Clan, spending her time thinking in the shadows. Her mentor was puzzled by this. But no matter how hard he poked and pried, the she-cat remained closed to his questions. She only seemed to open up when she was with Darkpaw then. It was around this time when their father died because he was bitten by an adder. This horrific event only made Swirledcoat draw closer into her shell, speaking only to her sister. Very soon Darkback was checking out toms at Gatherings. One in particuluar caught her eye: Nightpaw of ShadowClan. He was handsome and strong, with an intelligent gleam in his eyes. Swirledcoat noticed this as well, and warned her sister that they were bound by the Warrior Code to never take a mate from another Clan. Her sister agreed, and life went on as usual for the young RiverClanner. Swirledcoat had suddenly snapped back into her training, hunting and fighting like she had been born to it, and as if her sudden lapse in concentration had never happened. Darkback secretly knew the answer to Swirledcoat's un-annoying like personality switch. Swirledcoat had hated not having her father there, and before he died he was always away hunting, never playing with her as he used to. Only now was she getting over the fact that her father was gone, and she could still have a good time. At fifteen moons Swirledcoat was made into a warrior to serve her Clan, as Darkback had been created a warrior three moons ago because her personality didn't go through the switch that Swirledcoat's did. Now Goldenheart's body was failing her because of old age, and within a day their mother was gone. Darkback fell ill and followed. Swirledcoat grieved deeply with everyone, and very soon she saw that she must gain a mate if she wanted her bloodline to survive. Now, finally, at twenty-eight moons of age, Swirledcoat is settling completely into her Clan.
