Frostcloud/Relationships

These are the relationships of the WindClan senior warrior, Frostcloud, from his point of view. These do not reflect opinions of other cats.

Family

Parents

Frostcloud was born as the late litter of Whisperwings and Fadedcloud, with one sister, Snowdust. His mother died when he was five moons old of greencough, and his father, having a hard life, retired that moon, dying three moons later when Frostcloud was eight moons old.

Siblings

Snowdust and Frostcloud were close until Snowdust started consorting with a RiverClan tom, Shadedstrike, then Shadedpaw. Tundrapaw, as he was once called, followed Icepaw, as she was once called, and found her with the tom at the gorge. They had a long argument, of which neither were very kind to each other, until Icepaw whipped around and fell off the gorge. She survived, but the two's own guilts and anger, easy fixed by simple communication they lacked, kept a rift between them until that leafbare. They made up then and both realized how much they missed each other's companionship.

Mate

Hollyfeather started as his friend after his heart was broken by Petalstorm. In the moons past, she has grown to so much more than that. They bonded right away and were akin to partners in crime, only spending time with each other, terrorizing the clan with their biting sense of humor. They were met with other friends pressuring them together, mainly Silverdust and Blackstar. Blackstar inadvertently caused Frostcloud to realize his love of the calico she-cat, and instantly became frightened at the thought of rejection. He then avoided her for a long moon, hurting both her and himself. Eventually, he worked up the courage to tell her (not before a message from his father and what he thought was a sign, of course). She reaffirmed his feelings and he felt euphoric for a moon afterwards. He loves her more than he thinks possible.
