HISTORY
- Firepaw's criticism of Fishnose's teaching techniques would be received with escalating fury until the two ended up screaming into each others' faces. Eventually---only a few days into training---a compromise was reached: Firepaw would shut up or she would be on permanent elder-duty until her ceremony. - I have a lot of trouble with Duskystar standing by and letting a pair prone to screaming matches simply go along like that without immediately questioning the situation.

- the two soon found that they very nearly couldn't stand each other. Firepaw's criticism of Fishnose's teaching techniques would be received with escalating fury until Fishnose would stalk off to cool down, knowing that screaming into his apprentice's face would only make him look incompetent as a mentor. - I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around why such an impatient, hot-tempered tom was selected to mentor such a stubborn and unyielding apprentice... The pairing of the two frankly makes no sense to me using Duskyclaw's personality. In fact, I don't even see him respecting this Fishnose enough to give a show of support like an apprentice to him.
