Creation of new Cat Names for Species Should be left to administrators.
If you are entering a species, you will need to independently create a page for the Species Common Name, and the Scientific name. If there are other names for that species, you will also need to create entries for those other names.

Depending on the task you are a about to undertake you will use different tabs and templates. The list below explains what you must add.

For a Cat Name Entry that collects the various species that belong under a cat name (Example)
- Use the Cat Name Entry Tab
  - Click the "Add Another" button in the "Use for Main Cat-Name Page" Box & Fill out that form.
- Use the Submit Tab to save the entry.

For a Main Species Information page that displays the information about a specific species (Example)
- Use the Main Entry Tab
  - Click the "Add Another" button in the "Use for Main Species Information Page" Box & Fill out that form.
  - Click the "Add Another" button in the "Use for Prey Species Common Name" & fill out that form.
- Use the Submit Tab to save the entry.

For a Scientific Name Record page that redirects a scientific name to a specific species (Example)
- Use the Scientific Name Entry Tab
  - Click the '"Add Another" button in the "Use for Prey Species Scientific Name" Box & Fill out that form.
- Use the Set Redirect Tab
  - Click the '"Add Another" button in the "Redirect for Alternate Name Page" Box & Fill out that form.
- Use the Submit Tab to save the entry.

For an Other Name Record that records additional names commonly used for a species (Example)
- Use the Other Name Entry Tab
  - Click the '"Add Another" button in the "Use for Prey Species Other Name" Box & Fill out that form.
- Use the Set Redirect Tab
  - Click the '"Add Another" button in the "Redirect for Alternate Name Page" Box & Fill out that form.
- Use the Submit Tab to save the entry.

PID

All projects done with this template are a part of Project Information Drive. If you are not working with that project you should check to see if your prey item is claimed by another person who is working with that project.

Project Information Drive This template should remain until the point when an admin has ensured the templates are working correctly and the like.
This includes edits by non-admins.

Main Entry

When creating a main entry for a species this template should be located on the page named using the common name of the species in the human world. If this name matches the name cats use, append that entry name with (Entry) (Example: Muskrat Cat Name Page & Muskrat Entry Page)

Use for Main Species Information Page

Clan Cat Name:
	Enter the Cat Name of the species (The name used in the PID thread title).

Physical Description:
	Provide a physical description of the species in question.

Physical Statistics:
	Provide a list of those statistics we have, in Imperial measurements with metric conversions following in parenthesis. A minimum of Length/Height and Weight should be provided. Provide Wingspan when available. Do so in the format used by other entries (Example)

Behavior Description:
	Provide a breif description of behavior that applies to what the cats would know (IE: Behaviors that make them hunt-able, or that dictate when and where they are available)

Social Behavior Description:
	Provide a breif description of the social nature of the species for 'Social Behavior Description'. Keep it down to around a sentence.

Approval Level:
