Sootypelt joined the elders' den during the Moon of Long Nights, but did not have very long to enjoy her retirement. She died in her sleep on the night of the Gathering. Nine days later, Yellowfoot went to StarClan after falling into a section of swamp and being unable to get out. Aside from that, the Clan is all right, and although it's much too early to tell, there is happy news in Squirrelfur's pregnancy by Elmstar.
