Appearance   Short Description : A ruddy-brown bi-color she-cat with pale amber eyes Long Description : Squirrelfur is a red-brown pelted female. Her eyes are a light amber color. She has three paws that are white and one paw that is red-brown. She has a white patch of fur on her chest that is roughly in a diamond shape (not a perfect diamond though). She has a scar on the left side of her face under her eye from when she was an apprentice. She was climbing a tree and was on one of the middle branches when she accidentally fell off and a lower twig on a lower branch cut her cheek. It is about a half-inch long and is on the top of her cheekbone under her lower eyelid.

Personality     Squirrelfur is a very polite and kind she-cat. She strongly believes that cats in ShadowClan should be pure-blooded instead of a kittypet or a loner because she feels that outsiders will never become a true warrior. She also believes that the warrior code should be followed to the death, and that those who break it should be punished severely or exiled from the Clan. This causes her to be bossy, for she enjoys barking out orders to apprentices, kits, and other warriors that are younger than her. If cats don't make her angry, she is nice and polite to them. She is very loyal to the leader, her Clan, StarClan, and the Warrior Code. She takes every order that her elders or her leader gives her very seriously and will attempt to do the task well. She honors and respects her leader and her elders. For example, when Whitestar accepted a puppy into the Clan and named it Dogkit, she was angry for her leader had accepted an outsider into the Clan. But out of honor and respect for Whitestar, she kept this thought to herself. It almost caused a war between the Clans, but loyalty to her leader and Clan caused her not to say her feelings. She enjoys hunting, and her favorite piece of prey is a mouse.

She was named Squirrelkit due to her red-brown fur. Her sister was named Poppykit. Squirrelkit and Poppykit were the best of friends in the nursery, always playing kit-games together. They spent so much time together that their mother tried to encourage them to play with other kits in the nursery, which they eventually did. When they were around six moons old they were made apprentices. Poppykit and Squirrelkit became Poppypaw and Squirrelpaw. Poppypaw was apprenticed to a cat named Tansycloud and Squirrelpaw was apprenticed to Wrenclaw. One day, Poppypaw and Squirrelpaw were out climbing a medium-sized tree with Wrenclaw, just for fun (it was not part of the training curriculum). Squirrelpaw reached a middle branch and mistepped, falling off the branch and receiving a small scratch on her cheek from a lower branch. Poppypaw reached the top, but was too scared to come down. She accidentally let go, and fell to her death. Squirrelpaw sat vigil for her with her Clan, then returned to normal apprentice duties. She completed her warrior training and became Squirrelfur, a warrior. One day, she came back from a hunting patrol and found that her father had died of old age. She sat vigil for him with her Clan, and went back to normal warrior duties. Her mother died a month later of Greencough. She also sat vigil for her with her Clan She continued her life as a warrior. Her mentor died of Greencough when she was 30 moons old. She sat vigil with her Clan again. Between the ages of 30 and 50 moons old she continued with her warrior duties. At around 47 moons old she participated in a patrol battle with Oakclaw and Lionheart against ThunderClan. On the 25th Day of the Moon of First Fishing (2009) Squirrelfur dies after a long fight with Blackcough.
