Appearance   Short Description : A red tabby bi-color tom with yellow eyes Long Description : Firestorm was red tabby tom of average size, with patches of white on his throat and belly. His eyes were a nondescript yellow.

Personality     Firestorm was originally a sweet and peaceful tom. Before the war took its toll, he was a family-oriented creature with a love of kits and a playfulness that belied his age. But his stoic front hid dangerous internal weaknesses; eventually, the endless violence of war got to him, making him bitter and reclusive. His entire personality seemed to shift. His sweetness was buried beneath a layer of general snappishness, his placidity was replaced by a wary restlessness, and his playfulness vanished completely. He became paranoid, then delusional. At the end, he could no longer tell the difference between his Clan and the enemy.

History   Key Dates   Born Stormykit Apprenticed as Stormypaw Named a Warrior as Firestorm Full History : Firestorm was born to a pale ginger she-cat named Slightbranch. His father Firecoat died at war before he was born. The tom lived a fairly ordinary life; apprenticed at six moons, made warrior at thirteen. He was a peaceful cat by nature, but when the orders came, he fought with his friends and comrades as hard as he could. Moons passed--and then something changed. His friend died. He killed a cat by accident. His kits were born. All these things came together at the wrong time. The strain and danger of everyday life during the war made Firestorm paranoid. With newborns in the nursery, his paranoia only grew worse. The hidden fault lines in his mind began to crack; he fell into delusions. He feared for the lives of his three kits...but more than that, he feared the day his kits would leap, claws unsheathed, into the giant, bloody monstrosity that was the war. He saw the cycle of death that was turning circles around them and was afraid. So he cracked, slowly, beneath the pressure. One day, while wandering alone (against orders, at that), he came upon his mate and his offspring, playing not far from camp. By that time, Firestorm had lost all grip on reality. When he saw his them, he saw his enemy--the cats he was convinced wanted to take his family away from him. He could no longer tell the difference. So he attacked, the element of surprise on his side. Before Breezestar brought him down, he managed to kill three cats. Only his eldest daughter survived.
