Parents

Firestorm: Father, deceased. Went psychotic and murdured the rest of Newheart's kin.

Tawnyfur: Mother, deceased.

Siblings

Redpaw: Brother, deceased. Very close relationship.

Leafpaw: Sister, deceased. Very close relationship.

Offspring

Cardinalpaw: Son, carrier of half-loner, half-WindClan blood.

Friends

Blackstar: Newheart's oldest friend and leader of WindClan. They shared a nursery together, grew up together, and trained together. Their friendship was strained after the Firestorm incident, and after she left they did not see each other for many moons. However, one day they stumbled into each other on the border between their territories, and struck up their friendship again with ease. She values his time and opinions highly, and is not suspicious of him in the least, despite belonging to a different Clan.

Silverlark: Newheart's best friend since her days as Newborn. Sadly, their relationship has since been more distant; Newheart hopes they can someday become closer friends as they had been when Silverlark was younger.

Assorted Others

Ashstar: Previous RiverClan leader. Newheart respected Ashstar and was thankful that he allowed her to become a part of RiverClan.

Duskystar: Previous RiverClan leader. His death was a blow to her, as it was because of him she had a home at all. Her gratitude to Duskystar runs even more strongly than her gratitude towards Ashstar.

Fancyfoot: A horrible, foolish, and petty tomcat. His relentless pursecution of her and her family was stressful, and while Newheart wasn't exactly dancing on his grave, she was not at all upset over his death.

Foxpoppy: Deceased fellow Queen. Newheart had hoped that she and Foxpoppy could be friends and share the nursery together, but Foxpoppy chose to flee the nursery rather than put aside her foolish prejudice and listen to what Newheart had to say. Newheart was disappointed in Foxpoppy.

Strongheart: Newheart respects the young cat for his initiative and his open mind, despite his more intolerant mother. She has strong hopes for his future, and thinks of him as a good friend for Cardinalpaw.

Heronflight: Newheart does not trust Foxpoppy's daughter in the slightest. She is well aware of Heronpaw's prejudices, despite the kit's attempts to hide them, and senses in Heronpaw a deeply deceitful personality beneath her mask. Heronpaw's appointment as Medicine Cat apprentice troubles Newheart.

Thistlefur: Past mate. Although their relationship got off to a bumpy, even hostile start, they eventually became friends. Newheart loved Thistlefur deeply, and was badly hurt by his defection from RiverClan. She will always have feelings for him somewhere in her heart, but she no longer considers him to be her mate, for obvious reasons.
