The players of the characters from which the litters arise do not always have players in mind for those kittens. In accordance this page exists to outline the beginning to end process that handles the adoption of and the creation of kitten characters.

Adoption Setup & Administration Process

Use the following set of instructions to set up an adoption.

PHASE 1

Select Adoptable Kittens

1. Following the approval of the litter Locate it on the list of Submitted Applications.
2. click 'Edit with Form' to edit the application.
3. Set the 'Adoption Status' of any kitten you wish to offer up for adoption to 'Offer'.
4. Save the page using the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.

PHASE 2

Setup Adoption (Repeat for each adoptable Kitten)

• Create the adoption form
  1. Go to the Kitten Adoption Form.
  2. Fill in the Appropriate subject in accordance with the instructions on the page.
  3. Click the 'Add Another' button in the 'Adoption Setup' box.
  4. Ask for as much or as little information as you desire from players wishing to adopt.
  5. Save the page using the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.
• (IF KITTEN IS NAMED ALREADY:) Create the Kitten's "Dummy Sheet"¹
  1. Go to the Create Kitten Form.
  2. Fill in the appropriate subject in accordance with the instruction on the page.
  3. Fill in the information you have available as requested by the form.
  4. Save the page using the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.

If adopting the characters out nameless the dummy sheets can be filed after adopters are selected, and by simply entering the phase "To be provided by adopter" into Appearance, Description and like fields, leaving the management of the final approvals process to the selected player.

PHASE 3

Accepting an Adoption

• Deal with the Litter Page
  1. Locate the litter on the list of Submitted Applications and go to that page.
  2. Click 'Edit with Form' to edit the application.
  3. Set the 'Adoption Status' of any kitten that has found a player to be blank.
  4. Set the 'Player's Name' to be the name of the desired player.
• Assign the Character Sheet to the Player
  1. Go to the Character Sheet of the Kitten who has found a player.
  2. Click 'Edit with Form' to edit the Sheet.
  3. Set the 'Player's Name' to the name of the desired player.
  4. Remove the 'Adoption Information' template.
  5. Save the page using the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.
• Close the Adoption.
  1. Go to the Kitten Adoption Form & enter the correct information, or use the Litter Page or character sheet to navigate to the correct page.
  2. Click 'Add Another' in the 'Transfer to Old'
  3. Copy the text from the Instructions Box in the 'Adoption Setup' section into the corresponding box in 'Transfer to Old'.
  4. Click 'Remove' in the 'Adoption Setup' section.
  5. Ensure that all offers are given proper status labels.
  6. Save the page using the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.

Kitten Creation

If you are one of the players selected to play a kitten then you'll be undergoing the process of character approvals, but with the requirements intended for the players of kittens. Simply go to your pending kitten character and make the edits and send it through in accordance with standard approval techniques. Questions should be sent to Kitsufox.
