The following herbs have been selected for inclusion in the Healer's Herbal:

Names listed are the cat names. Names in brackets are the name you'll find it listed under in a human herbal.

Creation

  • Preferred Information Sources: Botanical.com, Cloverleaf Farm Herbs, & Healthy.net. If you take info from other sources, please provide links to the pages information is located on.
  • Forms
    • Main Herb Form
    • Alternate Names Form coming Soon (List alternate names that need to be added when the form is released in this thread, when responding to report completion of herbs)

Bedforddanes submission of Wild Ginger has been accepted.

I expect to check Goldenseal soon. Then it's just a single herb left to do and this edition is finished!

Because of time involved, Kyndzee's claim on Goldenseal has been cancelled. I'll take on the task of completing it.

In theory, chicory is essentially completed, although there's some trouble with the symptoms/complaints section. If you look at the editable version of the page, it's all there, but nothing is showing up on the page, so I'm not sure if it's a minor error in the site itself, or I did something wrong. Either way, submitting for admin tweaking and approval.

I noticed you started it, but never claimed it ;) Next time note you're claim on what your working on, please.

The symptom/complaint things actually make it so the entry you worked on appears on the entries you pointed at. When chicory is approved, I'll have to go through and add chicory to the various other pages so that all of the cross-linking happens correctly. At a glance it looks pretty solid, but I don't have time to read it over directly. It'll get looked at in the next day or so! It's exciting to see you contributing new content!

Oh dear, I'm terribly sorry! I wasn't sure how--or where--to mention it was claimed. I'll uh, file that note away for future endeavors.

I figure it was just that there was no good example of the process on this forum. It's not like PID is so busy that work duplication is likely right now without claims anyways ;) It's normally done by simply replying on this thread stating that you're going to start working on something.

Chicory has been accepted! Great work! I've added the cross-link code to the various pages that need it. And now that it's been approved it will appear on all of the various Symptom and Complaint entries as programmed.

This also marks the COMPLETION of this volume of Herbal Additions!
