Crescentglow's fur is mostly white, but parts of his face as well as his ears, tail, and a few sparse splotches on his back, are midnight black. His eyes, ovular and bright, are emerald green. The phrase 'the eyes are windows to the soul' truly applies for him, for his eyes are his main expression of emotion and any variety of his various moods and feelings can be seen in their surfaces. His nose is a soft shade of pink, as well as his paw pads, with crescent shaped, near translucent claws.

Crescentglow doesn't like to be teased and he doesn't like getting pushed around by those who are bigger or stronger than him. Although he has a fierce determination to uphold the warrior code and to protect the cats he cares about, his personality will lean towards his parents, and disapproves in harming others. He believes all problems can be solved by passively talking things out, saving unsheathed claws as a last ditch plan to quell disputes with other clans; he doesn't want to give Starclan a reason to punish them.

As he has grown further into his skin, Crescentglow is quickly developing into a very empathetic and patient cat, moved by stories of loss and willing to help those in his clan who are in need with more delicate, personal troubles. He believes he had learned this through both his mother, Squirrelfur and the kits in the nursery. There is something pure about being so young that he cherishes, and find himself sensitive towards trying to relate to his clanmates on a more emotional level.

Ever moved by his emotions, he is uncomfortable holding back his feelings and dislikes keeping secrets. Whenever he tries to bottle up his emotions he finds himself withdrawn and hesitant. To combat this, he's turned towards his clan, which have proved both his strength and his reason when times look bad.

When Crescentglow gets excited about something, the expression is very obvious on his face. If its something that piques his interest like the hunting and keeping his clanmates close, he becomes enthusiastic and animated. He enjoys thinking that he'll be remembered for some grand decision or action and strives to make his dame and father proud. Working for his clan, all the while being a very eager to provide for his fellow clanmates, is enough to lift him from even the most despondent of moods and remind him that he's not alone.

Shadowkit was born to two Shadowclan cats, Squirrelfur and Elmstar, the current Shadowclan leader. He was born without complications along with his two sisters, Rosekit and Poppykit. Much of the time spent suckling in the nursery were only broken up by sleeping and the occasional visitor in the nursery.

When he gained a little more freedom as a kit, he was often found wandering around camp, eager to help out his clan in whatever he could; checking bedding for the dens, seeing if the elders needed anything, wherever he was needed - and Elmstar approved.

He was apprenticed as Crescentpaw to the young warrior Owlwing, but then switched mentors to Rowanfall once Owlwing had met his end. Shaken by the loss, he was determined to show his new mentor that he would motor through his loss even though he was hit hard. He had grown close to Owlwing during their time, but worked hard to satisfy his memory of him.

Crescentpaw was named Crescentglow at his warrior ceremony, receiving his name from his leader and father. Proud of his accomplishment, he continues to strive towards protecting his clan and kin. Recently he's been feeling close to the kits in the nursery, especially towards Basilkit, treating her like his little sister and tends to be protective and affectionate towards her, probably due to the fact that his own sisters and him hadn't been very close.

Ever since his end of his apprenticeship and after his warrior ceremony Crescentglow spent as much time as he could spending time in the Elder's den, keeping his mother and Lionheart company during the long hours in the den. It was rare for the young warrior to hunt and not bring his food directly towards their den, or the Nursery, where he often shared his prey with them. He was always fascinated by both cats and their stories, and also recounted his own day to day activities from hunting and patrolling to things he found in the marshes. He confided in his mother on many occasions, and ultimately cared for her deeply as he grew older to respect and understand everything she had done for her clan.

Squirrelfur died the 25th of First Fishing (2009) after a long and strenuous fight with Blackcough. He felt as if he watched her slowly die up until she was taken away into the Medicine Cat's Den to live out her last few days. After growing so close with his mother, he was stricken by her loss. He knew that it wouldn't be so easy to go about his business like usual, but he pulled through to the best of his ability. Lately, he can't but feel a bit reminiscent of her still, and tries to do his best to make her proud.
