Where: Twinwillow, Riverclan Camp
What: Lionpaw becomes a warrior
Note: Gunna be a little speedster to help move this along, so hope you don't mind me taking two steps first.

Today would be a memorable day, not just for Lionpaw, but for Cinderstar as well as his first warrior ceremony. The sable pointed tom walked from his den and sat upon his usual place, chest exhaling the warm air as his eyes shone out towards camp, and soon after, his voice. [b]"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather at Twinwillow for a Clan meeting!"[/b] When he saw the bodies of the clan fill out before him, he continued.[b]"Lionpaw, step forward."[/b] Cinderstar stood tall and proud, nearly as excited as he knew the apprentice must be.

Why so melancholy?
Heronflight left her den when Cinderstar called the meeting and she sat close to the TwinWillow's root so that she didn't have to go far once the meeting was finished. It was about time for a warrior ceremony, she supposed as she heard Cinderstar call up Lionpaw. Heronflight had never paid much attention to that apprentice. He was the sibling of her apprentice and that was about as far as their relationship went.

Hailpaw emerged from the den after her mentor, taking a seat by the older she-cat. She found herself somewhat indifferent to her brother's ceremony; they had grown further and further apart as they grew and took on different paths within the Clan.
It seemed like ages to Hailpaw since they had been denmates.

Only death unimpeded, not slowing its pace,
Brings that petty old worry and wonder away.

Cardinalflight emerged from the warriors den upon Cinderstar's call, and he wondered what it could be about. Surely the Gathering wasn't for a few more sunrises? Settling down far from Heronflight and her apprentice, he looked up at the Twinwillow. When Cinderstar ordered Lionpaw to step forward, he nodded to himself. He was being made a warrior most likely, then.

Duckfeather slid out of the den and joined the crowd, taking a prominent place at the front. She'd been involved in the final details and the decision as to the date of this meeting. She was well aware of what was to happen today.

The puzzlement in Charredleaf's orange eyes cleared as soon as Cinderstar called Lionpaw's name.
Of course, she sighed, spirits lifting. This was great news for RiverClan; the addition of even just one warrior strengthened them all as a whole.
Her step was bouncy as she made her way towards Duckfeather.
" Ready?" she mewed, grinning, in a low, congratulatory tone to her blood-kin. Was Duckfeather ready to see her apprentice move on to a warrior? As much as she was fond of the blue-eyed calico, Charredleaf had harbored a bit of jealously that she'd gotten an apprentice before she did. Ah, well. She had still been happy for her cousin, and now she was even more so for the entire clan.

Crowpaw padded out of her den in time to see Lionpaw being called up to see Cinderstar. she felt a congratulatory purr Come up in her throat as she realised he would becoma a warrior today.

((The system broke, and I didn't both thorn about it because the play involved went AWOL. Seemed like misplaced concerns. Don't worry about your requests ;) I'll get the namesake pull on character sheets working again since the next major project I need to take up is the rework for character sheets. ))
