This page outlines the expectations for length for character sheet sections.

All Characters

Genetic Possibilities

Every character's coloration must be 100% explainable by RL cat genetics, including those genetics not yet documented on this site (Messybeast is an excellent resource for research). This includes the fact that the character must be able to have been given rise to by the parents as described (if they are described in the history. If they are not described in the history, they must be selected in accordance to the possibilities that make sense for offspring colors following approval while they are getting created).

Grammar & Spelling

Passable grammar is expected, and sheets are expected to at least have been passed through a spellcheck program.

General Template Options

Instructions on usage for general template options are covered in the documentation for {{Pending Character}} and {{Character}}.

Players who wish not to deal with templates directly can get around this completely by using the appropriate form, as reachable through the Character Creation Index.

Clan Cats

1. Names: Clan cat names must comply with all related Rules applying to Clan Cat Names.
2. clan: Spelling & capitalization of the group name must be correct.
   • Correct Options: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan
3. clanrank: Ranks must but Spelled & Capitalized in accordance with accepted Rules.
   • Correct Options: Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat, Medicine Cat Apprentice, Senior Warrior, Warrior, Apprentice, Elder, Queen, Kit
4. Gender: Gender must be entered in accordance with accepted precedents.
   • Correct Options: She-cat, Tom
5. Age: The age of your character is configured by selecting a moon for the character to be born from THIS list to enter into the born field.
6. Personality: This must be a paragraph comprised of 3 complete sentences. Longer is encouraged and preferred.
7. Appearance: This must be a paragraph comprised of 3 complete sentences. Longer is encouraged and preferred.
8. History: Your character's history must be within the parameters of the game history, and characters from the 'Warriors' books are not permitted to be used in your history.
   • Minimum Kit History Length: A complete paragraph of at least 4 sentences.
   • Minimum Apprentice History Length: At least 2 paragraphs of at least 4 sentences each.
   • Minimum Warrior History Length: At least 3 paragraphs of at least 4 sentences each, plus an additional 4 sentences per year over the age of 2.
9. Parents: The parents must be named on PCs. They may ONLY be omitted from the sheets of NPC Characters.

Feral/Semi-feral Cats

1. Group & Rank Fields Not Used: Clan, Clanrank, Camelot
2. clanless: The type of clanless cat must be entered here.
   • Correct Options: Feral or Semi-feral
3. Gender: Gender must be entered in accordance with accepted precedents.
   • Correct Options: She-cat, Tom
4. Age: The age of your character is configured by selecting a moon for the character to be born from from THIS list to enter into the born field.
5. Personality: This must be a complete paragraph of at least four lines. Longer is encouraged.
6. Appearance: This must be a complete paragraph of at least four lines. Longer is encouraged and preferred
7. History: The base history must be 3 complete paragraphs of at least four lines each. For each year over two that the character has lived, add an additional four line paragraph.
8. Parents: The parents must be named on PCs. They may ONLY be omitted from the sheets of NPC Characters.

Domestic Cats

1. Group & Rank Fields Not Used: Clan, Clanrank, Camelot

3. Gender: Gender must be entered in accordance with accepted precedents.
4. Age: The age of your character is configured by selecting a moon for the character to be born from from THIS list to enter into the born field.
5. Personality: This must be a complete paragraph of at least four lines. Longer is encouraged.
6. Appearance: This must be a complete paragraph of at least four lines. Longer is encouraged and preferred
7. History: The base history must be 2 complete paragraphs of at least four lines each. For each year over two that the character has lived, add an additional four line paragraph.
8. Parents: The parents must be named on PCs. They may ONLY be omitted from the sheets of NPC Characters.

Cats of Camelot

Cats of Camelot may not be created through the general channels, and in accordance there are no requirements available for creating them. Instead you must join the group IC, by talking to Pendragon.

Caligula's Cabal

Members of the Cabal may not be created through the general channels, and in accordance there is no requirements available for creating them. Instead you must join the group IC, by talking to Caligula.
