Vox Populi

  • Cottonwhisker on Sorrelpaw: Cottonwhisker was always particularly protective of Sorrelpaw, when she was a kit. Without knowledge of how to deal with a blind kit, she learned by trail and error, paying close attention to her daughter to see how she fared as she grew up. While she felt compassion for the she-kit, she felt no pity - Cottonwhisker was always sure Mothkit would find her place in the clan. When her sisters were apprenticed and Mothkit became Sorrelpaw, Assistant to the Medicine Cat, she was relieved that her daughter was spared becoming an elder at her age.
  • Flamesong on Sorrelpaw: Flamesong feels rather protective of Sorrelpaw. She feels curious and inquisitive about the young she-cat, and often ponders that she is not protected enough. She fears for Sorrelpaw's safety, and has serious doubts she will ever be of use to the Clan.
  • Fiercestorm on Sorrelpaw: Fiercestorm pities Sorrelpaw. He sees his sister as a lively spirit, with so much curiosity and intelligence and energy--yet he does not believe she will ever be able to serve ThunderClan. The idea that such a bright young soul will go to waste saddens him. He also feels that her blindness will make her a liability, and one he himself will have to deal with as leader. He has a great fondness for his half-sister, but it is tinged with sorrow.
  • Bloodstar on Sorrelpaw: While he's been long troubled by Sorrelpaw's blindness, he's found his peace with the situation by doing his best to let her be useful to the clan and keep her out of the Elder's Den.
  • Sparrowsong on Sorrelpaw: Sparrowpaw is, to say the least, uncomfortable around her sister; she is uncertain as to how to deal with her. She doesn't quite know if she should feel sorry for Sorrelpaw or if she should carefully avoid all sympathy in case it rubs Sorrelpaw the wrong way. And, with both she-cats serving in the medicine den, things are a little tougher. Sparrowpaw occasionally feels annoyance at Sixclaw's delegation of small tasks to Sorrelpaw, feeling as though, as official apprentice, even those jobs should be hers alone.
  • Shardclaw on Nightmoth: After sharing conversation with her, Shardclaw has lost much of his stigma towards the blind she-cat and now harbors a touch of affection for her.
