Short Description :
A confident black bi-color tom with yellow eyes
Long Description :
Blackstar has a stocky frame which makes him a sub par runner by WindClan standards. Having a stocky frame his black tail looks longer than it is. His pelt is mostly white it does have a few small, black patches scattered about it. Two of these black patches are on his head, one on his right cheek, and the other between his ears. Three more similar dark spots are on his body, one blends from the end of his back into his tail, while the other two are on either side of him. One is near his right shoulder, the other near his left hind leg. Blackwater's eyes are a fairly dark yellow color with rather large pupils.

Personality
Blackstar is a fairly calm, and relatively thoughtful cat; however, he is quite bold, and prefers to leave caution to the wind which his Clan for which his Clan is named. He's not the most serious of cats per say, and likes to think he has a good sense of humor. During a confrontation he can be quite facetious, but is usually able to handle himself, and what he says, well enough to avoid a fight. Every so often, however, he can be, overbold, and find himself in a bit of a mess. Part of this can also be contributed to a bit of overconfidence, though he does try to avoid fights when he can, but is not afraid if one turns up. When it comes to making decisions he does so quickly, but unless absolutely necessary, not immediately as he likes to take a few moments and consider his options. He knows exactly how important every decision he makes is, and the effect it can have on any number of cats.

Born as Blackkit, he was quick to wanting something more to do than sitting around in the nursery, but he wasn’t so much an ambitious kit as he was an easily bored one. He was the first of his litter to leave the nursery and go exploring about the camp, avoiding trouble best he could. There was never much of a desire on his part to go venturing beyond the camp, to him that alone was a vast expanse to which he could use in thousands of ways to entertain his young mind. It wasn't until the middle of his fifth moon that he started to become anxious to explore, but for the sake of becoming an apprentice on time, he remained in the camp.
Like every other kit he was apprenticed at six moons. His name was changed from kit to apprentice however, as he was called Darkpaw. Throughout his training Darkpaw went through many changes, he went from an immature kit who knew nothing of life outside his comfy little camp, to a cat that knew what it was like to have fought in battles, and even kill another cat. It was an accident, but it had a very great effect on him. He learned the very fine line between life and death, and just how important many things each and everything he did could effect. Of course he didn’t ever mean to kill another cat, but things happen. Aside from that incident his training was fairly normal. Darkpaw was a better fighter than he was a hunter, held back in the area by his lacking of speed and the majority of WindClan’s prey being rabbits; however he was neither excellent nor poor in either area. At the age of 14 moons Darkpaw was finally to receive his warrior name, Blackwater, which he believes was given to him as a reminder of where he killed another cat; though he was told otherwise. At the tender age of 22 moons he was granted his first apprentice, whom he trained to the best of his ability and with every free moment he had. Every time they would finish a training session he would, with his apprentice, recite the Warrior Code, and whenever possible he would volunteer for patrols. His parents didn’t pass until his 25th moon, and he was quite grateful for that, but he still missed them both, and they passed fairly near each other, though he wasn’t too surprised as they were both elders at the time. At his 29th moon his first apprentice became a warrior, and shortly thereafter he would do almost nothing except patrol and sleep. During this time he worked hard to improve his hunting abilities, but to very little avail. Blackwater is now a respected member of his Clan, and after the discovery of Leopardtrack's treachery found himself in the position of deputy. Since being named to such an esteemed position little has happened and he is happy to accept his new responsibilities. Doublestar still has many lives and he believes that if and when Doublestar passes, he will have had many moons to prepare for the responsibilites as leader of WindClan. For now though, he just wants to make it through his first gathering as Deputy. Only a short few moons after being named deputy of WindClan, Blackwater was forced into taking over the duties of leader when Doublestar fell ill with an unknown disease. He of course assumed it would only take one of Doublestar's lives and then he would go back to his role as deputy, with which he was perfectly happy. Unfortunately, that's far from what happened. After fighting for a long time, Doublestar died, eight times, and Blackwater found himself in the position of leader. Blackwater was never the best under stress, and he acted quite horribly when he found out what had happened. He left camp in an angry, frustrated rush, with no confidence in his ability to lead WindClan, leaving them as well, in complete disarray. When he arrived to Mothermouth and the Moonstone, he figured there was no way he'd be granted his lives, and that the cat he appointed deputy, his half-sister Dawnfire, would have to receive them, as he thought she was a far more capable leader than himself. To his surprise though, he was granted his lives, and quite a bit of confidence to go with him. In just the short time since receiving his lives he's come up with a grand plan, one that has not yet been completely unveiled. |
