Long Description :

:Cardinalpaw was born with blue eyes and as he has grown, unlike what Newheart initially thought at his birth, they have stayed that color. His fur has lengthened as he shed his kitten fluff, but doesn't appear to be getting any long. The majority of Cardinalpaw's pelt is red like his mother's, the tabby stripes thick and noticeable from a distance. His muzzle and the fur around his eyes changes to white as it does on his chest, forelegs, and half his stomach. Cardinalpaw's hindlegs and ears, however, are covered in red tabby fur. He is a medium sized kit, with a body type more or less like his mother's WindClan build. He is a slender with legs on the longer side, and a whip like tail.

Personality

:While Cardinalpaw was once a curious, carefree kit, his personality has been greatly influenced by the moons of his kithood up to his apprenticeship. He's still friendly and curious, willing to help wherever he can, but after finding out about his parents' heritage, he has become rather distant and ashamed of his parents. He dislikes the fact that he has to try and prove himself because of his parents' past, but he's completely determined to prove that he's a Riverclan cat no matter what. He refuses to accept that his blood doesn't matter and that adds to his stubborn resolve to prove he isn't 'part Windclan, part Loner' but he is full blooded Riverclan. This infusion of intolerance has put him at odds with his sire and dame.

Full History :

:Born as Twilightkit was born on the 12th of the Moon of Melting Waters to Newheart and Thistlefur. The red and white tom was the only kit to be born in this litter, but there were three other kits in the Nursery. He made friends with Needlekit and Featherkit, though Heronkit never really seemed to like him from the start. He had always wondered about some of his clanmates' behavior towards him and after asking Newheart about it as a kit, found out that he wasn't considered to be a 'true' Riverclanner, because of the fact that his blood carries both Loner and Windclanner blood. This has caused him to become ashamed of his parents and somewhat disgruntled at the fact that, while his parents stress that blood isn't important, it obvious was if he was treated initially as he was. When he reached his sixth moon, he was apprenticed to Wetstar, something that thrilled the young tom. and now, aside from trying to rid himself of the stigmata of mixed blood, he strives to prove himself to his leader.
