Long Description :

:Quite obviously taking after her unnamed, and thus unknown father, Ruddyback is quite the striking cat. Taking after her mother in size, she's not quite as large as her brother and littermate, Bloodstar, but by no means diminutive. Her build is more exotic than most, with a distinctively lean and long torso and delicate, strong legs and a long tail. Ruddyback's muzzle and face lean more towards the angular features of her father, but they're tempered by the softer edges inherited by her mother, although her ears are still quite large. Her coat, from which she draws her name, was once dark. As she shed into her adult pelt, however, a rich auburn and later a near-red color was revealed. The color is most prominent on her back and haunches, while at her throat and underbelly it fades to a lighter, almost creamy hue. Her body, and thus her fur as well, is dotted and crisscrossed by scars left by enemy claws and fangs; tokens of the war which plagued her life. Her eyes are distinctively brighter than her brothers, almost lemon yellow with a slight hint of green near her pupils.

Personality

:With a rather domineering personality, Ruddyback is the kind of she-cat who only does things she doesn't want to while under the strictest of orders. Like her brother, she is straight-forward and dutiful to her Clan, wishing no more than to be on her feet and better improve herself. Her mere determination and aggressiveness to achieve makes her shine and stand out in the crowd, as well as her ruddy fur. She will do her best to make the Clan strong and will put the Clan’s well being before all her own wants and needs. She's brash, impulsive, and almost annoyingly stubborn, but under her outwardly aggressive actions she's a loyal cat through and through.

Full History :

Born without a named sire, Ruddyback has always known the devotion and protection, as well as the competition of clan life. Her mother was Gingertail, while her father was the purebred Abbyssian kittypet known as Socrates. As a kit she was curious and daring, but always seemed to stay out of trouble, or found a way to avoid getting trouble. She longed for the days she would, herself, become an apprentice.

Her life as an apprentice, and later has a warrior was uneventful, although disturbed periodically by the bloody battles that made up the Great War. She did her normal apprentice duties to the best of her abilities. Training was her strong point and kept on her paws as often as she could, as she still does this very day. Although a vibrant and adventurous cat, her history was far less eventful than her brothers. After all, how many cats can drive off a dog on their own?

She follows her brother faithfully now, although her otherwise entirely devoted being is tempered by the slight envy of her littermate being her clan leader. She was given a headstrong apprentice named Cheetahpaw. Ruddyback vowed to make her a strong warrior, but almost failed her with her somewhat poor mentoring skills. This caused Bloodstar, her own brother, displeasure at her actions. After long moons of training, though, Cheetahpaw was given her warrior name, Flamedust. Due to her brother's new litter of kits, she finds herself anxious and feels like she has to redeem herself. Perhaps Bloodstar will give her a second chance at mentoring, but at this point, all she can do is hope for the best.
