This document directly addresses the character-type-balance related aspects of litter approvals to aid players in deciding when they should drop applications from their various clans. If this is badly out of date and you're considering a litter, please drop Kitsufox a line requesting an update.

CURRENT AS OF 2 December 2013 and reflecting ages for the Moon of First Fishing (2009)

Any likelihood of Unbelievably High means that the requirements are lower and low-development pairings will be considered for the good of the clan. Even pairs with just one thread worth of on-screen activity. Labels of Extremely High means that the requirements are lighter, but at least two threads will be expected instead of the usual three.
