Physical Description: The male Gadwall is dark gray, and the female is light brown with a long, tan neck. They both have a black rump.

Behavior: Gadwalls live in marshes and watery areas. They get their food by dabbling, and they are active during the day. They nest on ground, leaving their eggs where clever cats might steal them.
Social Organization: Flock; Gadwalls live in groups and migrate south during the winter.
Approval Level*: None; Gadwalls are common in the marshlands of the clan territories.
Kill Difficulty: Moderate; Gadwall are large birds, able to deliver a solid wallop with wings to make their escape.
