Physical Description: A small, sleek and plump bird with an iridescent green patch on it's wings. They have a yellow tail stripe. Males have a white stripe up shoulder, and the males have dark reddish and green head. The females are light brown.

Behavior: Green-winged Teals live in marshes. They make their nests on shore beds and are active during the day. To get their food, they dip their head into the water and stick their rump into the air.
Social Organization: Green-winged Teals live in flocks and migrate south during the winter.

Kill Difficulty: Moderate; Green-winged Teals are large and able to buffet cats firmly with their wings when attacked.
