Short Description :
A longhaired torbie she-cat with brilliant green eyes
Long Description :
Rosestorm is a reddish torbie she-cat with vivid green eyes. She is long-haired and noticeably thicker than her dam's. Rosestorm was the runt of her litter, making her a mite small even as an adult, and she has always lagged behind cats like Hopestorm and Fiercestorm in size. The soft pelt she bears is a patchwork of tabby colors—red, brown, white, black and amber. Her tail is on the fluffier side and is tipped with white, covered with crisscrossing markings. There exists a distinct difference between a cat whom was built for speed, and one for power, and it is obvious that Rosestorm was made to fight. Her claws are long and sharp. She can strike an opponent fast as lightning, which she will be forever hard-pressed to let another cat forget.

Personality
When she was younger, Rosestorm was more energetic, but as she grew older, her energy became more subdued. She still has somewhat of a stubborn personality and subtle aggression when others don't see things her way. Rosestorm is a rebel at heart, mainly towards the seemingly tyranic ruling of Bloodstar. However, she manages to seem respectful towards most other warriors, and on most days is relatively friendly towards most cats, if they don't agitate her.
Though Rosestorm was once resentful towards her adoptive sister, Hopstorm, she has learned to tolerate the she-cat who comforted her after the murder of Roseclaw. She is closest in the clan to her brother Fiercestorm after her mentor's death, but has recently found differences with her adoptive brother over the subject of his 'friend' Flurrytail. Rosestorm has learned to tolerate Bloodstar more after he saved her from being killed and eaten by a dog in the Treecut Place, but she still dislikes him, probably more then any cat in her Clan. Rosestorm was far more energetic as a youngster, but grew calmer and more subdued with age. She still has a markedly stubborn and subtly aggressive personality when others cannot or will not see things her way. She is a rebel at heart, always has been, always will be. This has mostly been aimed towards the tyrannic ruling of Bloodstar. However, she manages to seem respectful towards most other Clanmates, usually relatively friendly...so long as they don't agitate her. Though once resentful of her adoptive sister, Hopestorm, she has learned to tolerate the other she-cat who comforted her after the murder of her first mentor, Roseclaw. She is closest in the Clan to Fiercestar, despite finding differences with him over the subject of his 'friend,' Flurrytail. Rosestorm accepted Bloodstar more after he saved her life from being killed and eaten by a dog in the Treecut Place. She disliked him still, most likely on a deeper level than any other ThunderClanner. In the past, Rosestorm truly cared for Oakclaw, the ShadowClan tom she had an illicit affar with. Then, he killed Slateshadow, a Clanmate Rosestorm was personally familiar with, and she has avoided seeing him at all costs. Her feelings are conflicted, instead of being hateful or sympathetic, she is simply an internal nervous wreck. She will do anything in her power to make certain that the parentage of her kits remains a secret till her passing, and beyond. |
History

Full History :
Born a few days before Markedkit and Stormkit, Kestrelkit was accompanied by two siblings on a cloudy day and into a clouded world. One littermate never even took a breath, the other dying soon afterward due to birth-defects. Sorreltail, the mother of Markedkit and Stormkit, died and Kestrelkit's dam Cottonwhisker adopted them into her brood. Never knowing her true sire Kestrelkit grew up believing Bloodstar was her father and Markedkit and Stormkit were her actual siblings.
Nothing much happened during her kithood, up until Markedkit was taken from the Gathering. She and Stormkit went searching for her, endangering themselves, coming across kittypets and a loner named Adderstrike. The loner was driven off and the kits safely returned to camp, where they would be made apprentices a moon early in order to keep them out of trouble. Kestrelkit became Kestrelpaw, Stormkit Stormpaw and Markedkit was named Hopepaw. Kestrelpaw was apprenticed to the warrior Roseclaw, but tragedy seemed to like surprising Kestrelpaw. Roseclaw had gone off on a patrol, and never returned. Kestrelpaw, along with Bloodstar and a patrol of fellow ThunderClanners had found her former mentor's mutilated corpse. Only Roseclaw's skull had remained intact. There had been no body to take back to camp. Kestrelpaw had expected to be made a warrior after Roseclaw's death, but to her shock, her education was moved into the paws of Bloodstar. Bloodstar was the last cat she foresaw wanting to train her, and he was the last cat she wanted for that matter. She had disagreed with the older tom on Dogkit. She didn't think that the pup was a threat to the Clans, but Bloodstar's views were the complete opposite. Before she received her warrior title, Bloodstar took Kestrelpaw to the Treecut Place to see what a full-grown dog was truly like. The dog awoke from its slumber, and made an attempt on her life. Bloodstar saved her that day. Kestrelpaw was given the warrior name Rosestorm in memory of her fallen mentor and the fact that the beginning of her life was akin to a storm: born within the tail-end of a war, and surrounded by the hubbub of a false prophecy involving her own sister. It was obvious Bloodstar gave her the suffix he did for a reason. She became one of the three ThunderClan storms; Rosestorm, Fiercestorm, and Hopestorm. She proceeded to have a relationship with the ShadowClan tom Oakclaw, a cat she related to despite living on different sides of a border. Soon, she found herself to be pregnant with his kits, and her Clanmate, Slateshadow, agreed to pretend to be the sire of them, so that no one else would find out that they were half-Clan. The foreign scent Oakclaw left on ThunderClan territory led to Bloodstar becoming suspicious, sending an ambush against ShadowClan, one in which Slateshadow was murdered by Oakclaw. Rosestorm's three kits are warriors, now, and no one alive besides Oakclaw, Sagepelt, and herself know of their heritage. Rosestorm herself is unaware of Sagepelt's knowledge. |
