This page documents the formal titles of the various Cats of Camelot.

Cats are granted titles, honors and stylings based on the ranks they hold and the deeds they have accomplished in life. Titles recorded herein are those appropriate for sessions of court, to be called out by the cat serving as Herald for the Court.

Titles, Honors & Styles

Bear in mind that this list is not all-encompassing. Situations such as adoptions create interesting variations.

  • King/Queen: His/Her royal majesty
  • Crown Prince/Princess: His/Her royal highness
  • Prince/Princess: His/Her grace
  • Lord/Lady: His lordship/Her ladyship
  • Knight/Dame: Sir/Dame

Granted by Fiefdom

  • Fief Whitehart: of Whitehart
  • Fief Von Monte: of Von Monte

Granted by Lineage

Cats of certain ranks are eligible to include indication of their lineage in the styling used for them as follows:

  • King/Queen & Crown Prince/Princess
    • Of Camelot: son/daughter of X who was # of his name and who was in turn son of Y, Scions of the royal blood of the cats of camelot, so honored by King Uther in the days of yore
    • Of Other Kingdoms: son/daughter of X who was # of his name and who was in turn son of Y
  • Prince/Princess: son/daughter of King X # and Queen X # of KINGDOM-NAME
  • Lord/Lady: son/daughter of X of FIEF-NAME
  • Variation for Adoption: son/daughter in body to X and of spirit to Y

Granted by Other Circumstances

Cats take on titles to denotes various statuses and live changes.

  • Betrothal: (Used by females only) Betrothed of NAME-WITH-SHORTEST-TiTLES
  • Widowed: (Used by females only) Dowager TITLE X
