Short Description will be provided after approval
Long Description :
Hopestorm is on the large size of average for a she-cat. Her pelt is a ruddy-gold color akin to the gleam of a setting son, with fur that is both sleek and dense. The once unmistakable star-mark has faded to a patch of paler fur on her throat. Her eyes are the same fierce amber-gold as Bloodstar's, and gleam with the savagery that she claims is proof of her blood-link to her Great-Grandsire, the legendary Fiercestar. Even more obviously a link to Fiercestar is her right ear, which is has been reduced to a shredded mess of fresh scars and scabs.
Personality

An eventful life has led to a cat with confidence and attitude to spare. Her intelligence is well developed, as is her memory. She might lack her father's photographic memory, but she has inherited his interpretation of the Warrior Code. She views cats from other clans as lesser beings, and believes that the code and the demands for respect made in the code do not apply to cats who do not live under the Code. While originally embraced as a way to shed the stigma of the moon she's spent in Twoleg paws, she now lives and clearly believes her father's philosophy.
History

Key Dates
  • BIRTH MOON WAS NOT PROVIDED
Full History :
Born in the deep cold of Bare-leaf (December), Markedkit was accompanied into life by a single sibling. The night of the pair's birth was that of the Medicine Cat's half moon meeting at Mothermouth, and thus the Medicine Cat only had time for a glance prior to heading off. On the Medicine Cat's return, it was declared that the She-kit bore a sign from StarClan in the white marking on her chest. Three days later Twilightstar, leader of ThunderClan, made the choice that she should go herself to Mothermouth, and share dreams with StarClan to better understand what the Medicine Cat called a sign that the war would finally end. The journey resulted in tragedy, when the Leader was slain by a monster on the Thunderpath the trip forced her to cross.

Her sire became leader the next evening, and the Medicine Cats proclaimed her the propheciezed kit. Though the forest did not know it, the claims of the Medicine Cats were based off a prophecy of their own creation. It was not revealed before Bloodstar was locked into a promise to bring his 4 moon old daughter to a gathering, while the Medicine Cats suffered visions of destruction for the forest. Eventually, they admitted the falsehood they had told. Unknown to them, StarClan was laying plans to claim the prophecy as their own and force peace onto the cats in their forest.

Though the Prophecy had been a lie, Bloodstar was already locked into a promise that he would bring Markedkit to the Gathering. Thus, a 4 moons old kit was at a gathering (though not without an honor guard who's only task that night was to protect her). The night went well, until the gathering was about to break. A small monster (An ATV) burst into the clearing and in the end, Markedkit was found and stolen by its pair of twoleg passengers.

Despite the best efforts of ThunderClan, they were unable to recover the her. It was by chance and daring that her siblings (one by blood, the other adopted) found their way to Twoleg Place and met the Kittypets Markedkit was housed with. They managed to arrange her escape with them, before returning home. It was a delegation from all the clans that went forth to collect her on the night of the full-moon, fulfilling StarClan's prophecy and working together to recover the stolen kit.

Two days following her return she was apprenticed to her nurse-mother as Hopepaw, joining her siblings (who had been made apprentices following their outing) as an apprentice. Since she has trained long and hard, growing in skill and understanding. While she gained skill in battle quickly, her hunting is not exactly as advanced as it should be. Hopepaw's patience is the main hurdle for her hunting skills, impatience and a clear dose of spoiling while a kit have led to a cat without all the patience needed to stalk a mouse properly.

During patrols on the border, Hopepaw came to know the loner Fox. This loner believes himself in love with the Clan's Deputy, Roseclaw, Though Hopepaw was already of the opinion that loners were little more than trash. Even when Fox helped a patrol (that was perfectly capable before he butted in) drive off a pair of Rouges who'd once been ThunderClaners her opinion of him did not soften. A moon prior to her attaining Warriorship Roseclaw, her own cousin in addition to deputy, was slain while on patrol by the beast who stalked the forest.

Pride does not adequately explain her joy when she received her Warrior name: Hopestorm. She shared the day with Stormpaw, who became Fiercestorm and Kestrelpaw who became Rosestorm.
