Description:
|
Colt's Foot is a small plant with yellow flowers resembling dandelions that stand on stems typically between 3 and 11 inches in height. The stems have leaves that resemble the foot of a horse, but do not grow in until after the seed pods have set, and then wither and die by the end of the season.

Properties:

Colt's Foot is well known for its ability to open the lungs and still coughs. In addition to reducing the swellings of the lungs and throat, when applied externally the plant is effective at reducing swellings.
