Description:
|
A plant that averages 30 inches in height, with a purplish-green stem that is slightly hairy. The stem is dotted with leaves of bright green. The top is crowned by a purple flower made up of spiked petals.

Properties:
|
Water Mint is most prized for it's ability to settle the stomach, but is also useful for afflictions causing loose bowels. In high concentrations the herb can induce vomiting. In small amounts the herb is valuable is aiding to control spasm-inducing conditions.
